A Different Way of Looking at the World — Together
Dear Beautiful Soul,
If you’ve been feeling unsettled by what you see happening in the world lately, you’re not alone.
So much of what we are witnessing today has always existed — conflict, suffering, division, fear. Yet now, through constant news cycles, social media, and endless information streams, we are exposed to it again and again. Our inner world rarely gets a pause.
At times, this can leave us feeling stretched, unsettled, or quietly tired — even when we can’t quite name why.
Rather than turning away — or trying to force ourselves into positivity — I’d like to invite you to sit with me for a moment and look at all of this through a different lens. Not as something you need to believe, but as a gentle exploration we can do together.
A Truth About Perception
Here is a truth I return to again and again in my own inner work, and one I see unfold naturally in my practice:
Behind every form in this world, without exception, is either an expression of love…
or a call for love.
Nothing else.
This doesn’t mean denying harm, pain, or injustice. It simply points to the fact that what we experience is shaped not only by what we see — but by how our mind interprets what we see.
And that interpretation is not a conscious choice.
It is an unconscious orientation of the mind, often shaped by past experiences, conditioning, and protective responses that once helped us cope. Sometimes we are even surprised by our own reactions — how quickly fear, tension, or judgment can arise.
This is not a failure.
And it is not something to fix.
Where Expression Meets Liberation
As a hypnotherapist, my first role is to hold space — for whatever wants to be expressed. So often, we’ve learned to hold back: to sound good, to look good, to stay composed. In that holding back, important parts of our experience remain unheard.
In my work, I invite what has been restrained to be safely witnessed. From there, I use carefully chosen language, imagery, and metaphor to gently facilitate a shift — not by effort or force, but by allowing something deeper to be revealed. This is often where a sense of inner freedom begins to emerge.
If you’re curious, you might simply notice what happens inside you as you read this:
how your mind is making meaning right now
what you sense in your body as you take this in
what feels familiar, reactive, or quietly present
There’s nothing you need to do with these observations.
They are simply information.
From this kind of witnessing, something subtle yet powerful can unfold. Inner responses soften. Awareness widens. And without effort, the lens through which we’ve been seeing can begin to change.
We are not as fixed as we may sometimes believe. Much of the pain we experience comes from judgments that feel true, yet are still rooted in previously accepted ideas — interpretations we may never have questioned. When we become willing to see differently, and open to having something new revealed, another way of being begins to make itself known.
When we genuinely want to feel lighter, more peaceful, and more at ease, that openness is often what allows the shift to occur.
If You’d Like Support
If you notice recurring struggles, persistent negativity, or an inner tension that feels difficult to ease on your own, this may be an invitation for deeper support.
You don’t have to navigate this alone. I am here to walk alongside you and facilitate this process in a way that feels respectful, grounded, and right for you.
In private hypnotherapy sessions, we work gently with the subconscious and the body’s learned responses — not to force change, but to allow what has been held beneath the surface to soften and unwind at its own pace.
If this resonates with you, you’re welcome to reach out and explore working together.
With warmth and steadiness,
Elke✨
